"I know what it feels like to be living a dream. Creating art I can share makes me feel loved and like I have found my place on this planet. I have painted realistic fine art since the 1980’s when I worked as a biochemical engineer. In 2010, I turned my love for the visual arts into a full time career.

My work has earned me a long resume. It is in private, museum and corporate collections across the globe, including the USA, Japan, Belize, France, England. I hold signature memberships in over a dozen prestigious societies including Copley Society of Art (as well as their juried portrait registry,) Salmagundi Club, International Guild of Realism, American Women Artists, National Oil and Acrylic Painters Society. I am a master artist member of Art Renewal Center, the US Coast Guard, and Miniature Artists of America.  I have representation at five fine art venues across the country.

I consider each of  my awards, signature memberships, museum acquisitions, published features and interviews to be affirmations along my art journey. Explore my website to see the palm sized miniature art I create under magnification. Then browse the larger works, up to four feet tall.

I create each piece with intention. I invite you, the viewer, to feel appreciated, comforted, engaged and at peace. While my subject matter varies, every painting has a job. It makes your heart smile. Can you feel the breeze? Do you hear the birds chirping? Can you relate to the mood on that face? Do you want to lean in and smell that flower or taste that grape? Good. Mission accomplished." - Debra Keirce
