Henry James G Holding

Henry James G Holding c.1833 – 1872 (Paris)  was a British painter of Tudor scenes and landscapes in oil and watercolour who lived and workd in Manchester. In the Manchester City Art Gallery there is a Shakespearian scene by his brother Frederick Holding (1817-1874) who also illustrated Southey’s “Battle of Blenheim, 1864”
