BOD's left holding the baby...in art gallery's window.
Amy Huberman could be forgiven for her double-take when she spotted husband Brian and their baby Sadie in an art gallery window while walking through Dublin. The actress posted a snap-shot of the caricature to her Twitter account with the caption "Ah cute".
Brian, in a rugby jersey with a ball in one hand and six-month old baby Sadie tucked firmly under his other arm, was centre stage in the window of the Balla Bán Art Gallery on Westbury Mall. Gallery manager Frank O'Dea was chuffed by Amy's interest in the canvas. "She was walking past here and stopped to look at it. She said she loved it and asked if she could take a photo and I said of course she could."
The 34-year-old author, actress and mum-of-one did not go as far as buying the painting, which is by Dublin based Ray Sherlock and has a price tag of eur275.
"Its a watercolour caricature," O'Dea said, "and its just been in for a few days now." O'Dea set the Balla Bán Gallery up in 2009 with the aim to feature works from both emerging and established contemporary Irish and European artists.
Meanwhile, Brian was left holding the baby last night as Amy headed out with pals Amanda Byram and Yvonne Keating. TV presenter Amanda revealed that they had "a big night in store". And online she sent her "apologies in advance" to Brian, adding that there might be trouble. However he didnt seem too worried, replying: "I'll be supervising the first couple of hours. Behave!!!"
