The anniversary of what would have been John Lennon's 70th birthday takes place on October 9. Commemorations here will include a Lennon-themed exhibition at the Balla Bán Art Gallery in the Westbury Mall, Dublin.

Included will be works by Belfast artist Roy Wallace, including this one -- note the ghost of late Beatles manager Brian Epstein, in black and white, keeping tabs on his former client (and Yoko).

"Other bands have boasted about doing it but The Beatles were the first band to truly revolutionise the music scene. Enjoy the pictures," Roy told The Diary.
